Sarah here, your pastoral intern for the next year. This is my first post here at the cedarcreek youth blog! I'm starting to feel settled in to the office and to life here in the Pacific Northwest. I am loving how beautiful the weather is right now out here! We have not had a day since I have been here that there hasn't been sun at least part of the day. I'm trying to soak it in as much as possible right now, before the rain comes!
There are a few activities coming up in the next month that I wanted to let everyone know about:
Youth & Family Picnic/BBQ July 27
For all youth from 4th-12th grades and their families! We will be gathering at the Foss' house on Lake Meridian after church for an afternoon of food, fun, and good ol' fashioned getting to know one another. Please bring sides, deserts, or drinks to share- hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. Feet2Faith Concert August 9
Everyone is invited to come to a fantastic concert at Seattle University, part of a week-long high school social justice conference called Feet2Faith. A group from CedarCreek is going to be leaving from the CedarCreek offices at 7pm for this 9pm concert. Sign-up at the welcome table on Sunday, or e-mail/call Sarah if you are able to come.
