Game night!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to remind all of you Life 101 agers (grades 7-12) that you are welcome to come over to Alanna and my house this Friday for a night of games, music, and popcorn! bring your favorite games and your favorite music. It's going to be a great time! We're starting at 7pm and we'll probably go until 9:30 or 10. If you need to come late or leave early, that's fine. We'd love to have you there.

This week at HYPE we learned about the parable of the Compassionate Father and His Two Lost Sons (AKA the parable of the Prodigal Son). We had a good time acting it out and talking about God's amazing love and grace that He offers us. And of course, there was the usual amount of craziness and insanity!

In Life 101 we are continuing our Rhythm theme. This last Sunday we discussed how we can refocus our sense of Wonder where it needs to be: on God. Unless we are in Wonder of God first and foremost, we can't be in rhythm with Him - it throws off the groove of our whole life!

The challenge for the week was to read Psalm 145 and reflect on the Wonder and Greatness of God. We'll recap that on Sunday, as we dive into what it means to be in rhythm with ourselves... and how we can focus our need for Discovery! See you on Sunday at 6:30.
