Summer is here.

Hey everyone,

I hope that you had a great time celebrating Independence Day with your friends and family. And it seems that summer has come as well in Maple Valley! We welcome its arrival.

On top of the coulee!

But as many of you know, we didn't wait for warm weather in western Washington to get started with some summer celebrations... we drove to central Washington to enjoy the sun, water, and wind at Blue Lake. Check out some pictures here!

Our mission trip is coming up quickly - only 1 1/2 weeks until we depart. For those of you who aren't going on the trip, please pray for us! We'll be gone from July 17-23.

And before that, I'll be taking some vacation time - so we'll be taking a little break from youth group events until after the missions trip.

And we'll also be gathering for some spontaneous board game afternoons at Cutter's Point as the summer goes on... hope to see you all soon!

But you can look forward to our next Sunday youth group gathering - Sunday, July 31st, at the Foss' home on Lake Meridian! We'll be playing games, swimming, enjoying the sunshine, making custom-made smoothies, and maybe even doing some boating... Keep your eyes and ears open for more info.
