The weekend is here, and Corey Greaves and the Dancing Our Prayers group from Mending Wings are coming tomorrow! Please, pray for Corey and his group. There is a chance of bad weather coming over Snoqualmie Pass this weekend, and Corey hasn't been feeling good. Only God can bring them here safely and in good health - let's pray!
Tonight: Come to Dave and Krisann Foss' home for a documentary viewing and discussion about the boarding school experience to prepare for their arrival. It starts at 7:00pm and ice cream will be served. :)
Tomorrow (Saturday): At 5:00 at the Upper Room, Corey and his group arrive! Come join us for dinner and a couple games. For those of you who are hosting - this is when you'll greet and take home your guests.
Sunday: You can come to help setup for lunch at 9:00. Don't miss the 10:00 service, when Corey and his team will join us for worship and share testimonies, drumming, and dancing.
And there will be NO Life101 on Sunday night because of all this stuff that's going on this weekend!
In other news - some of you have been anxiously awaiting the starting up of our IMMERSE Bible study. I have great news for you. Starting in January, Becca Worl will be teaching this study at her home. If you have a preference on either Thursday or Friday afternoon from 4:00-5:00, please let me know.
And finally, the high school (grades 9-12) MUD retreat is coming up on January 13-16, 2012 - talk to me if you'd like to come and I can get the registration form to you. Scholarships are available if we apply early!
