But in all seriousness, I hope that you are enjoying 2012 thus far. We're not wasting any time before we get back into the rhythm of Life101. Here's what's up:
- IMMERSE Bible Study - each Friday (starting this week!) - at the Worl's home - 4:30-5:30. Do you feel like God is calling you deeper? Do you want to take the next step in your walk with God? Do you have lots of questions or doubts about your faith? This is a place to work it out. In this Bible study, we're digging deep into the word of God together. We'll be looking at roughly one book of the Bible per month month. To kick it off, for the month of January we'll be studying the book of James, led by Becca Worl. We'll be serving tea and hot chocolate (woohoo!). You can download a version of the book of James on the Downloads page, or I can give you a paper copy next time you see me. And if you can, give the book a read through before Friday. But either way, come join us! Let me know if you're planning on coming so we know how many mugs to set out. Just email me for directions if you need them.
- Final MUD Registration Deadline is Sunday, January 8! The MUD retreat is for high schoolers (grades 9-12) and it's happening on Friday, January 13 to Monday, January 16 at Cascades Camp. It will be a weekend full of fun, relaxation, time together, and time to focus in on Jesus Christ and your relationship with him. Scholarships ARE STILL available, so let me know if you want to come! I need to have payment and registration in hand this Sunday!
- Speaking of this Sunday, we will be having Life101 (yeah!) at our normal time (6:00-8:00) and place (the Upper Room). See you then!
