Greetings - I hope that this email finds you well and looking forward to this weekend.
For those of you who were there at Life101 last Sunday, I hope that you haven't forgotten our discussion on the Church, its history, and Jesus' prayer for us all to be united, to be ONE as He and the Father are one. Let's all keep praying that prayer, for all followers of Jesus in our community and around the world.
We have some fun stuff coming up with Life101, so here's what you need to know:
Tonight! IMMERSED Bible Study at Becca's place, complete with pizza... we'll be finishing up our study on 1 Timothy this week. You can plan on sticking around for food and fellowship afterward!
This weekend there will be no Life101... (insert sounds of weeping here) But instead of being sad, come to our first ever CHIC silent auction! (4:00-5:30 at the Upper Room.) We'll be hanging out, enjoying ice cream sundaes, and bidding on some fun items to support our group that is headed to CHIC. There will be live music by our very own Maddy and Marisa Magana and comedy by Lee McKay. Even if you don't plan on spending much money, come to enjoy the fun! A ticket is only $1 and you can get it at the door.
On Sunday, April 29, we will be going to Fountain Court Senior Living again to spend time with the residents that we've been getting to know and love! This week we'll be planting plants in the pots that we painted last month (don't worry, we'll have new ones if you weren't there last month!), and maybe even baking some cookies too. Drop off and pick up at Fountain Court, 6:00-8:00. Hope that you can join us.
