Pumpkin Fest 2012 on Sunday was a huge success - a big thank you to the Browns for hosting the event! We launched candy corn at each other, carved pumpkins, made our way through a darkened corn maze, and enjoyed "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" We feasted on pizza, pumpkin seeds, cider, and doughnuts, and finished off the night with delicious s'mores... All in all, a fantastic afternoon and evening! This Sunday, there will be no Life101 because of the Thunder retreat. Please keep our Thunder attendees (Dylan, Chris, Sam, Isaac, Caleb (leader) and Eric) in your prayers this weekend - pray that God would move in powerful ways in our lives and that we would grow closer together in Him!
The following Saturday - November 3rd - We have an opportunity to serve the people of Vine Maple Place. They need help cleaning up from their fall fundraiser at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church. Can you help us out?? We'll meet at 10:00 at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church, and then have lunch afterward at the Upper Room. We should be done around 1:00. Please email me ASAP if you can join us!
Finally, we are hoping to get the ball rolling on our IMMERSED Bible Study group next week! We are planning on meeting every other Thursday afternoon from 4:00-5:00, starting next Thursday (Nov 1). Come to find out what it is about - new people are welcome! Location is TBA (if you have any suggestions or you know someone who might be willing to host, please let me know!)
