Hey friends!
We had a blast last Saturday with the Afternoon Extravaganza! I'm so glad that so many of you were able to come out - it was great to be together having fun as a community!
This Sunday, we have Life101 at the Upper Room from 6-8pm. We're wrapping up our discussion about the Gospel of Mark this week, so you don't want to miss everything coming together! Come and join us for a good time digging into God's Word and listening to what He has to say to us.
Also, a service opportunity has popped up for our church this Saturday morning - a Lake Wilderness clean-up project happening at Lake Wilderness park from 8am-1pm. Most of the work is light yard work (we are GOOD at yard work!), cleaning up debris from the winter. There is also some painting to be done, so dress appropriately. All that you need to bring is yourself, some grubby clothes, and a pair of work gloves - everything else (tools, refreshments, snacks) will be provided. This is a all-church Cedarcreek event - so there will not be youth staff there to supervise. SO - drag a parent or a favorite over-18 family friend out of bed and kindly ask them to join you to make our community park a nicer place! Phil Robinson from Cedarcreek will be at the Lake Wilderness lodge to meet you at 8am. Planning on going? Email me and Phil Robinson (philandmarcia (at) juno (dot ) com)
In other news, the IMMERSED Bible Study group is still on hiatus, but will be starting back up in the month of May (Thursday, May 2nd - 4:15-5:15 @ Cutter's Point)! Keep your ears open for more details about that.
