This weekend is the THUNDER retreat! We are joining a record number of youth groups with their students and leaders for a weekend to discuss our identity in Jesus Christ. Please join us by praying for our group and for God to open hearts and transform the lives of all of us gathered. Our group includes: Evan Woods, Oliver Wunschel, James Goetz, Sam Johnson, Hunter Goodman, Cory Brown, and Isaac Johnson, and leaders Mark Dullanty, Steve Klein, and I.
Because of Thunder, there will be no Life101 this Sunday night (Sept 27)!
On Sunday, November 3rd, come to a farewell open house for Alanna, Aimee and I at the Lexes' home - 2-5pm. If you need the address or directions, feel free to contact Malia at info(at)cedarcreekcovenant .org. We would love to hang out with you one more time before we hit the road! (There will be no Life101 at the Upper Room on Nov 3 because of this open house).
On November 10, Life101 will be visiting Fountain Court Senior Living center in Maple Valley. 6-8pm. Pick up/drop off at Fountain court!
It is with sadness that I realize that this is the last blog post that I will write at Cedarcreek! It has been a joy to walk with you and your families in this season of life. You will be in our thoughts and prayers frequently in the coming weeks, months, and years, and we will always remember the time spent with you all as such good times, blessed by God. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your journey of life.
Stay close to Jesus, brothers and sisters. We were made for a deep relationship with our Creator and our Lord, as well as relationships of trust and encouragement with each other. May God call you (as individuals and as a community) into his Kingdom in new and exciting ways in the future!
