The summer is rapidly coming to a close... :( But that also means that Sunday night youth group will be upon us soon! : ) Here are a few reminders/announcements for you:
- All Church Picnic - Today! Come to the Foss' Home on Lake Meridian (the same place that we had our lake party last month) for an all-church picnic and potluck. The afternoon will be filled with swimming, hot tubbing, kayaking, boat rides, campfire, yard games, and more! The party begins at 3:00PM. There will be a BBQ dinner provided by our Caring Team, so please just bring your favorite side dish of salad, appetizers, or dessert.
And! Our very own Kaitlyn Dickison will be baptized at 6pm! So don't miss this awesome opportunity to celebrate this big step of faith with her! Hope to see you there. You can contact me for directions if needed. - Hiking this Saturday! We will end our summer together with a hiking trip! On Saturday, September 3rd, we'll be hiking down around Mt. Rainier for the day. We'll meet up at the Upper Room at 9:00am and be back to Maple Valley around 7:00pm. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle, sturdy shoes, a sack lunch (coolers will be provided) and some money for a fast food dinner on the way back. Please RSVP ASAP if you're interested so that we can figure out rides, etc.
- And finally, Life101 will resume our normal meeting time and place - 6:00-8:00 at the Upper Room - on September 11th. Can't wait to see you there!
