This Sunday, September 11th, we are kicking off our weekly youth group meetings for the fall.
Join us at the Upper Room at 6:00pm. There will be root beer floats and so much fun, you can't even stand it!

Here's what's going on for the rest of the month:
- Sunday, Sept. 18th
- 2pm - Airsofting! - There was talk of doing this on the 11th, but it's coming... on the 18th! We'll be back at the Shewey's place for more rounds of airsoft. Ammunition and eye glasses will be provided if needed. Bring your own gun and mask and $5 for pizza dinner.
- 6pm-8pm - Life101! location is TBA. Transportation will be provided to Life101 if needed. More details next week
- Friday, Sept. 23rd:
- CHIC Informational Meeting - 7pm at the Upper Room (following the community meal) - Next summer, our youth group will be traveling to the University of Tennessee for the Covenant High In Christ Conference (CHIC for short). Dates are July 14-21, 2012. Anyone who will have completed 9th grade by the end of the 2011-2012 school year and who will be at least 15 years old as of September 1, 2012 is welcome to come. Come early to enjoy the Friday night meal at the Upper Room and stay to find out more information! Check out www.chic2012.org to get a jump start on things.
- Sunday, Sept. 25th:
- NO Life101! Why? Because we have an event coming up on Wednesday... "See You At The Pole!"
- Wednesday, Sept. 28th:
- 30 minutes before school starts @ the flagpole in front of your school: See You At The Pole. Meet with other Christian students to pray for each other, for your school, for the nation, and for the world. It's happening at every middle school, junior high, and high school in the area. - Then later that night, 7:00pm-8:30pm - Post- See You At The Pole Rally - We're joining all the area youth groups to worship, celebrate, and pray together! Don't miss it! Meet at the Upper Room at 7, and we'll be back to the Upper Room around 8:30.
