Life101 on Sunday, the Thunder Retreat, and Upcoming Pumpkin Fest!

Hello there!

It seems that fall is here in full force... I woke up to frost on the ground this morning and leaves crunching under my feet... It reminds me that the Pumpkin Fest and the Thunder Retreat are coming soon!

Not only do we have youth group this Sunday and next Sunday at the Upper Room from 6:00-8:00, we have these fantastic events coming up later this month!

Fun at Thunder 2011...

So, first of all - for those of you in middle school and junior high - the Thunder Retreat is coming! And the early bird deadline is coming up THIS SUNDAY - October 7th! The Thunder Retreat will be at Cascades Camp and Conference Center on October 26-28. It's an awesome weekend of playing fun games, hanging out with old and new friends, singing worship songs, engaging with God's Word through a great speaker, and much more. Don't miss out on an opportunity to get away from your daily routine and let God shake things up a little bit! Cost is $90 if you register by Oct 7 (it increases to $105 after that). So, get your Thunder registration ready, and come one, come all (grades 6-12) to youth group this Sunday and continue "chewing on" the Book of Mark with us - this time looking at Jesus' teachings and the calling of the disciples.

And be sure to put Pumpkin Fest 2012 on your calendar! It's happening on Sunday, October 21. We will be carving pumpkins at the Browns' home and going to a corn maze. Times and cost TBA next week...
