Hey Lifers.
Last Sunday was good - digging in deeply to the Book of Mark and Jesus as Prophet. And yesterday a group of us met up at Cutter's Point for our IMMERSED Bible Study - we're delving into the Book of Zephaniah - it was a great time (IMMERSED meets next on Thursday, Nov 29). It is good to be in the Word of God together.
I hope that you can join us this Sunday for Life101 @ Fountain Court! We will be singing, playing games, and making Christmas cards with the residents. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to hang out with some of Maple Valley's elders and maybe even hear some Thanksgiving stories from years gone by... That's this Sunday, Nov 18, from 6:00-8:00 @ Fountain Court Senior Living.
Then next Sunday, Nov 25, join our church and youth group for church and lunch afterward with Corey and Gina Greaves (and maybe some of our other friends from Mending Wings!). Please RSVP if you are coming for lunch... it's a Thanksgiving leftovers potluck, so come and enjoy the feast! (It will be at the Upper Room following worship on Nov 25. This is in place of youth group that evening - there will be no Life101 in the evening!)
Finally, you should all come to church this Sunday, to join us in worshiping God AND because we are having a historic Cedarcreek congregational meeting - we're going to vote on whether or not Cedarcreek purchases the property on 240th St. in Maple Valley. Come and be a part of this special time in our church's history (and enjoy some Italian Fresh Pizza afterward too!)
Oh, and we have a very special announcement about Life101:Summer2013 that will be made on Sunday the 25th... so keep your eyes and ears open... :)
