Thanksgiving is upon us! I know that many of you have enjoyed half days this week, and that most of you will be enjoying time with friends and family tomorrow as you feast together - soak it up! And give thanks to God for all of the good things that He has blessed us with - and seek to bless others with the blessings that you've been given.
Coming up this weekend for Life101, there will be no normal youth group this Sunday night! Instead, Corey and Gina Greaves are coming to worship with us on Sunday morning! So be sure to come to church on Sunday, and then you can follow us to the Upper Room after church for a potluck lunch with them. (Bring something thankgiving-y to share with everyone.) We will have a great time hanging out with them - and we have a special announcement to make about Life101:Summer2013. Come to find out what it's all about!
We have a couple more youth group events coming up in the next two weeks, and then we will be off for Christmas! Here is what is happening in the coming month:
- Sunday, November 25 - Church and Lunch with Corey and Gina Greaves from Mending Wings
- Thursday, November 29 - IMMERSED Bible Study - Book of Zephaniah @ Cutter's Point from 4:15-5:15
- Sunday, December 2 - Life101 youth group - 6:00-8:00 at the Upper Room
- Sunday, December 9 - Life101 Gift Wrapping and Christmas Party - 3:15-9:00 - locations TBA!
- Friday, January 18-Sunday, January 21, 2013 - the MUD retreat! - at Cascades Camp and Conference Center - for students in grades 9-12 - cost is $120 if you get your registrations turned in by Jan 3rd. Partial and full scholarships are available. Don't miss out on a fantastic weekend at camp!
