So, it's not often that I use this blog for a purely personal purpose... but I thought that you guys might be interested in this. :)
Shortly after midnight on the morning of Thursday, August 8th, Aimee Jean Landin entered this world with much rejoicing! Aimee weighed 7lbs 3.5oz and measured in at 20 inches long. Alanna and baby did beautifully throughout the labor and delivery. Our whole family is at home and doing well.
"Aimee" means "beloved." "Jean" is my grandmother's name and it means "gift from God." So our daughter is a "beloved gift from God." So true! We celebrate her arrival!
You guys have been so awesome to our family in this time of preparation for Aimee's coming. We have appreciated your excitement and support! We can't wait for you all to meet this incredible, beloved gift from God, and for her to meet you all - this community that we care so much about.
Much Love,
Eric
PS. Also, we are in the process of finding someone to take you guys to the Creation Festival tomorrow! Currently, five of you have expressed interest. We're really hoping that it works out, but there is a chance that it might not and we will have to cancel the Creation Fest last minute. Keep your eyes posted on this blog and the Facebook page for updates.
Also this begins my 2 weeks of "paternity leave" - so I will be off the radar for 2 weeks! No Revelation meeting this Tuesday - we'll reschedule.
