Hey Life101ers.
So good to hang out with many of you over the last week. Way to break a record for most number of people in our little apartment!! :)
Some exciting things coming up in the next week and a half:
This week's Phry(Fri)day Phenomenon is a service project at Northwest Harvest. Come join us to help prepare meals for the hungry in the greater Seattle area. Meet at the Upper Room at 8:30am - we're leaving as close to 8:30 as possible! We'll be back to Maple Valley at 12:30 and we'll grab lunch together at Subway by QFC - bring $$ for lunch. Back to the Upper Room by 1:30. Read through this document for important information about our service project (what to wear, expectations, etc.)! If you are coming and you are under 18, I need either a current Life101 Release Form on file for you OR a Northwest Harvest permission form (see link above) signed by a parent.
Next Tuesday, we will have our second-to-last IMMERSED Bible Study in the Book of Revelation. We'll be reading chapters 18-22 - Starbucks at Wilderness Village - 1:00-2:30. :)
Next week, the Creation Festival (Christian music festival) is coming to Enumclaw! And WE will be joining them for the fun all day on Saturday. There are many different bands playing, including Chris Tomlin and David Crowder, and Louie Giglio speaking. Check out the details at www.creationfestival.com . We'll meet at the Upper Room at 9am and return late... 11:30ish? Cost is $49 for the day ticket, and be sure to bring money or food for lunch and dinner. Plus, spending money for CDs, t-shirts, etc. if you'd like. *Note that this is our Phry(Satur)day Phenomenon for the week. ;)
