I am back in action here at the church... our little daughter Aimee is doing well and is under the excellent care of her mom and grandma. :)
Wrapping up the Summer
The summer is quickly coming to a close! But we have one final Phry(Fri)day Phenomenon happening next Friday (August 30). We will be returning to the Northwest Harvest facility in Kent to help them feed people all over the state of Washington! We'll meet at the Upper Room at 8:15am. Bring $5 for pizza for lunch, and we'll be back to the Upper Room around 12:30, and we'll share lunch together until 1:30. Please RSVP! Last time we divided beans into 1 pound bags and boxed them up for distribution. What will we do this time? Come and find out!Also, for those of you who have been a part of our Revelation IMMERSED Study, we will have our final Bible Study session on Wednesday, September 4th at the Upper Room from 3:30-5:00. We'll be singing, praying, and reviewing the what we've covered in the book of Revelation together.
Fall Kickoff and A Lake Party!
Our weekly Life101 gatherings will be starting up again with a bang on Sunday, September 8th! We'll be hanging out at Ben and Janet Whitcomb's house for a lake party! ... complete with tubing, lawn games, board games, and at least one brand-spanking-new game. Things start at 1:00pm. Tubing will go until 3:00pm. We'll have dinner together and hang out until 7pm. Need directions? Email or call me or Ben and Janet! Anyone in grades 6-12+ is welcome. This is a awesome way to reconnect with old friends, make some new acquaintances, and invite your friends to meet the group for the first time!Life101 will meet again on Sunday, September 15th at the Upper Room at our normal time (6:00-8:00).
