It's hard to believe it is already Tuesday at CHIC! We have had fun, crazy, and packed days so far.

| At our Fracture base camp |
In the mornings at chic, we gather with other youth groups to form a group of about 500 for base camps. Each base camp is focused on a different theme. We started with creation, today was fracture, tomorrow is freedom, and the final day is respond. Yesterday at our base camp we talked about creation and discussed the Hebrew word "TOV", which means "good." in creation, God look at what he had created and saw that "it was tov." Good, beautiful, functioning the way it was created to function. We recognize that we are TOV as well, when we are in relationship with one another as we bear the image of God. Today, in fracture, we explored the brokenness and injustices of the education system worldwide and started talking about what we might do to make a difference.

| Waing in line for good seats at main stage |
Afternoons at chic are filled with too many activities to count, and time to hang out and relax. Some of us have gone bowling, swimming, joined up with other youth groups to hangout, taken naps, and played games. After dinner together, we join up with everyone at the conference for "main stage." It starts at 8 PM and goes for a few hours with concerts, worship, and challenging speakers. Worship team is been doing a great job leading us into worship. Last night, LeCrae put on an awesome concert to kick off the night. Speaker Bianca Juarez posed the question to us, "who do you say that Jesus?" She invited us to recognize him as the Messiah, the son of living God, and "the God of the impossible" who uses unlikely people for amazing purposes. Many of our students said that they want to go deeper with Jesus and they have before as we were gathered together in worship. Praise Him for all that he's doing in our lives, and pray that he would continue to mold and shape our hearts as we are gathered here this week.
