Last night was our final night of CHIC. The last few nights of music, worship, teachings, and discussions have been fantastic. Francis Chan addressed Jesus' question , "do you love me?" Does what we do in our lives reveal our love for Jesus? Or are we trying to mix our love for Jesus with other things? That's like drinking lemonade with frappacino... It makes us sick and miserable.
Judy Peterson and Louis Giglio both gave us inspiring messages that challenged us to stand up from the things that are keeping us from God and to respond to God's call to go into the world by sharing the healing that Jesus has brought us.

Gungor, Chris Tomlin, and Skillet blew our socks off, each in their own unique way. Worship led by Chris Tomlin was powerful -throughout the room there was a genuine outpouring of joy and thanksgiving to God for all he's done. We sang, danced, spun, laughed, clapped, cheered to give glory to God!
Our group has been growing closer to each other as well. We've shared deep conversations and prayed over each other throughout the week. There has been good times of bonding in the dorm as well. Some of the bonding was done over a common activity: pranking me.
I've had my bed sheets switched, my head silly-stringed, and my hair dyed pink. I've returned to the apartment to find my door covered in posters, blocked by over twenty cups of water, or decorated with a dozen bananas attached with duct tape. All in all, it has been a very fun week. :)
The experiences that we've had are too many to mention all of them. We've probably heard over 20 speakers throughout the course of the week, which has contributed to changes in understanding and in our hearts. Many of us have had significant encounters with Jesus, which point us forward in our relationships with Him, always deeper.

But above all, praise Him for all that He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in the lives of these leaders and students! His love is neverending, and His faithfulness endures for a lifetime. All honor, power, and glory be unto our God and Creator, and unto the Lamb - Jesus, Yeshua.
