'Tis the season for Christmas parties, caroling, and high school retreat registrations... :)
THIS SUNDAY join us for the Life101 gift wrapping and Christmas party! We will be wrapping presents SOMEWHERE (location still TBA after some scheduling issues...) and handing out hot chocolate and hot cider. Afterward, we will head to the community club in Cherokee Bay for dinner, Christmas games, and a White Elephant gift exchange! Bring $5 to cover the cost of food and wrapping supplies, and bring a wrapped white elephant gift (preferably something that you already have lying around, worth not much more than $5 or $10, for a random gift exchange!). Meet at Walmart at 3:30 and we will finish at 9:00 at the Cherokee Bay Community Club (21700 Southeast 265th Way, Maple Valley, WA 98038). Call or email me with questions. I will post on Friday where we will meet for the gift wrapping!
Sunday, December 16th is the Cedarcreek All-Church Caroling event! We will gather at the Upper Room at 5:30 and go caroling at Fountain Court Senior Living and in the nearby Patrick's Faire neighborhood and end at the Upper Room for cookies and hot cider! Bring your family along for the fun, and bring some cookies to share... We'll probably be done around 7:30.
Friday, January 18-Sunday, January 21, 2013 - the MUD retreat! - at Cascades Camp and Conference Center - for students in grades 9-12 - cost is $120 if you get your registrations turned in by Jan 3rd. That's right - early bird registration ends on January 3, 2012. Partial and full scholarships are available, first come, first served! Don't miss out on a fantastic weekend at camp.
