Hey friends,We will NOT be wrapping presents on Sunday afternoon after all... We had some difficulty scheduling a place for us to do the wrapping! But instead, we have another fun and crazy way to give a free gift to others in the spirit of Christmas.
We will be playing BIGGER AND BETTER (kudos to Justina for the idea!), hoping to trade up for bigger and better items that we can sell to fund microcredit loans for working people in various countries around the world. Each team will start with a paper clip and be set loose for two hours to try to trade up for "bigger and better" (more valuable) items. The final item will be sold and the proceeds go to World Vision!
So, on Sunday, December 9th, we will meet at the Cherokee Bay Community Club at 3:30. This is also where our Christmas party will end at 9:00pm.
If you need directions to the community club from the intersection of Kent Kangley and Witte Road, click here. I will have printed directions on Sunday as well.
What you should bring on Sunday:
- Yourself!
- Your friends!
- A White Elephant gift (something that you want to get rid of, worth no more than $5-10, wrapped up and ready for our gift exchange!)
- $5 to cover the cost of food, or a plate of Christmas cookies.
